Nature Volunteering Events

ARMN and other local environmental groups are hosting several events in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. between Jan 16 and 19, 2026. Here is a list of opportunities to work with fellow community members to remove non-native invasive plants and clean up our area’s beautiful parks and spaces. Please check the particular event for details to sign up, and any specific requirements, including whether there are age recommendations for activities. NOTE: A “usual” event day may be listed in the description for ongoing projects. Scroll down to see special Martin Luther King, Jr. event dates and sign up there. Please dress appropriately for the weather!
We will update these listings as needed if there are any changes to the events.
To volunteer for any of the events, please sign up via the links below so you can receive updates and help the event leaders know the number of participants. Stay tuned for weather-related changes, including cancellations. Thank you!
